Application Process
Welcome! The EcoCommunity School is currently accepting applicants for Elementary grades 1-3 for the 2020-21 school year. Our vision is to eventually offer programming for infants and toddlers, as well as preschool, middle and high school students, so fee-exempted applications are welcome for these programs, which will be added according to demand.
We are currently offering admissions to a small group of elementary students based on application, date applied, internal and external recommendations. Please explore our website thoroughly to help ensure that ECS is right for your family. Once your application is received, our Director of Education will arrange school visits to ascertain whether we are a good match.
Enrollment may take place any time during the school year as openings are available, and tuition will be prorated accordingly.

Tuition
Our goal for the ECS community is a balance of long term sustainability and accessibility. We offer school scholarships and generous financial aid. Our tuition rates are well below the state public school averages in New England, while still allowing us to maintain internal health and stability. 100% of our income from tuition and donations goes directly toward the cost of our programs.

Full Time Elementary Tuition: $10,070/year
After Care Program for Full Time Students 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: $7/hour, due weekly
Tuition is due according to biannually, quarterly, or monthly payment arrangements.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
Financial Aid and Scholarships will be awarded based on availability and qualifications on a first come first served basis, with priority given to returning students. Please contact the school regarding available scholarships.

Acceptance and Registration Process
Upon acceptance to the EcoCommunity School, we will send a registration packet. Copies of all previous school records are due with registration, so it is helpful to acquire them as early as possible.
